The Ruff Diamonds are a band which offer SOUL, MOTOWN classics & party favourites for special events. They have a growing following of fans and wished to create a professional web presence. I provided the band with a UX strategy, including enquiring about their fan base in order to create personas, the next step was to do competitor research, wire framing, deciding on the best framework which was WordPress, a choice the client took to as they wanted to update the site.
The development progress was communicated to the client on a daily basis to ensure that the client had input and positive critique in order to have client engagement from concept, UX Design, UI Design to web design, site development, testing and release. After release client comments which they received from asking fans and family to test usability and steps were taken to come up with solutions to concerns.
One area of the site that would require constant updating was the video and music section. I provided the client with an open source content management system – WordPress – that gave them the access they required to maintain these themselves.
